Made me cry...I plan to have my husband read it out loud when I give it to him at our shower with his scrubs...I'm sure he will tear up, too! Has 20 pages of cute lion illustrations with 10 verses. My favorites are "Thank You, God, for Daddy. He leads me as I grow- He wants me to be kind and good; He teaches me all he knows." And "Thank You, God, for Daddy. I know he trusts in You. I know he asks You questions, and I know You answer too." The whole book follows that format, talking about how Daddy is dependable and a hero, a leader in the family, child's biggest fan, can fix anything, generous to others, gives sense of security, and of course loves his child.

It was hard picking a book off this website with just the titles, not knowing the content, but this one is excellent. It encompasses all that a great dad and Christian are!!

It has a hard cover with some padding (but not like the soft baby books) and the pages are thick and cardboard with rounded edges...perfect for a small child to last for years. Love it!
